2012 saw the inaugural Qatar National Sports Day on February 14. QNSD is an initiative by HH the Emir of Qatar to inspire the nation to be more active. It is now a national holiday in Qatar and local companies have been encouraged to host active events for their staff and customers.
Fitness Qatar worked with some of Qatar’s leading corporations including Qtel and Maersk Oil to provide a day of fun and activity. We have also been closely involved with companies to provide a legacy; a framework for ongoing employee activity after the event.
